It was pouring rain this morning –dreary and quite cold. But by afternoon it was sunny, breezy and 65°F. It’s Spring!
This red maple was beautiful when we arrived in the fall and the last few days it’s began blooming. I love the color and the fact that it’s right outside my office window.
I am not very good at identifying flora but the daffodils out front are already starting to bloom so I am hoping these are tulips. Tulips are my favorite flower. They are scattered throughout the back yard.

Her clothes are getting shorter too. She’s been eating more than usual and sleeping longer so I fully expect she’ll be going up a size this season. Time to see what’s in the attic clothing bins.
Whatever season you are in I hope you’re enjoying it as much as we are. My oldest daughter keeps echoing my thoughts, “I wish it was always like this.”
Happy Spring –we’re jumping with joy over here!
