Spring Sewalong: Fitting

I’ve been tweaking the pattern and finally got it to a pretty good place. It still needs some work but it’s really close.

Here’s muslin #3

Without the sleeves attached it looks good.

But once I put the sleeves in I can see that’s it’s too tight and the sleeves are not right.

But I’m getting there!

How are you doing?

Michele, looks like the width of her arm at the shoulders might be causing the sleeve to pull. Possibly adding a little more to the bodice armhole sleeve seam allowance (say from notch to notch over the shoulder area) and a little to the same area on the sleeve. By adding a little extra seems like there would be extra width/ease for her the top of her arm/shoulder. If it fits great sleeveless then there will be a bit of pulling once the sleeve is attached. Hope my 2 cents helps. :)

I’ve yanked my zipper out and reattached it so many times. Ugh. Not. Giving. Up.
Hope you can get yours figured out!
