Summer Break

Summer is always such a busy time for me and this year it’s been even busier. Planner sales are up (for which I am very grateful) and that means I am spending a good bit of time filling orders. Given that each planner is custom built that can take a while.

Add to that several conferences this year –Kentucky, Virginia, Texas– yeah I’ve been busy!

But I am taking a break this week while I wait for a new batch of planners to arrive from the printer. I am meeting up with a few friends at Gettysburg for a “Ladies Picnic Tea”, dressed in period garb. This is my first time dressing this way and I have to admit I am pretty excited.

I’ll post some pictures of the picnic later one but here’s a shot of the bonnet I made to go with my dress. It might not be completely correct but it’s pretty and I like it.

I’ll show you my dress later. I didn’t make it, I bought it online but I altered it –more on that later.
Have a beautiful day!

Love the bonnet! Can’t wait to see the whole ensemble! It sounds like such a wonderful outing. I’m still bummed I couldn’t get to IHM to see you.
